At Batavia Coast Dive & Watersports, we want to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason your product doesn’t meet your expectations, we offer a 30-day exchange policy for unused and saleable items. Please read the following information carefully to ensure a smooth return or exchange process.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:
- The product is unused, undamaged, and in saleable condition.
- All original packaging, manuals, warranty cards, and accessories must be included.
- Tags must remain attached where applicable.
If you believe your product is faulty, please refer to the "Faulty Items" section below.
Important:
- Returns for items that are worn, used in water, or damaged may not be accepted and will be returned to you at your expense.
- Batavia Coast Dive & Watersports is not responsible for products that have been misused or improperly cared for.
- Claims for missing items or damages that occurred during transit must be reported within 7 business days from receiving the merchandise.
Faulty Items
If you believe your product is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible for assistance. We will evaluate your claim and process it in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Non-Returnable & Clearance Items
Certain items, such as special order merchandise or products marked as non-returnable, are exempt from returns or exchanges. Clearance items are non-refundable, except in the case of a warranty issue or fault. We will offer an exchange for the same item (if available) or a product of equivalent value.
Returns Process
- Contact Us: Please email us at info@bcda.com.au with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return or exchange.
- Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item is faulty. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your item arrives safely.

Please include a copy of your invoice with the return, along with any specific instructions or information we may need.
Processing Time: Returns may take 1 to 7 business days to process after we receive the item. We will notify you once your return is complete.
Refunds & Credits
Refunds will be processed in the same manner as the original payment method. Please allow up to 14 days for your refund to appear on your account. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Gift Vouchers:
Gift vouchers are not eligible for cash refunds. They are treated like cash, so please keep them safe. Lost or stolen gift vouchers will not be replaced or refunded. The person in possession of the gift voucher is considered the owner.
Exchanges
If you need an exchange, we will offer you an exchange for a different size or product of equal value, subject to availability. Please follow the returns process outlined above.
In-Store Returns
If you are local, we encourage you to visit our store in Geraldton to complete your return or exchange. If you are unable to visit in person, please ensure your returned item is shipped back to us within 30 days from your original order date.
Additional Information
- We do not offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect orders, as per ACCC guidelines.
- We will communicate with you promptly regarding any charges or return shipping costs once your return is processed.
